Wood

Care:During installation, doors should be carefully removed and stored on a clean surface in a protected area. Do not rest the door surface against the hinges of other doors.

Our finish is moisture resistant, but not moisture proof.
Heat and steam generating appliances such as coffee makers, toaster, toaster ovens, kettles and portable grills should be used with care and not directly under upper cabinet doors to ensure that they will not be affected by excessive heat and steam. Exposure to heavy deep-frying below the wall cabinets can cause oil to impregnate the door and cabinet and harm the finish and/or change the color.

Avoid placing small appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, grills or woks beneath wall cabinets where excessive heat and humidity is directed to the cabinet surfaces.

It is important to keep the cabinet surfaces dry, wiping up spills immediately.

Fingernails and jewelry may damage the finish, particularly in the area of handle and knob hardware.

The areas around the sink, dishwasher and cooking areas and handles require special attention, removing liquid and grease spills before they are allowed to penetrate and break the surface finish.

Cloths moistened with cleaning products or damp towels should not be draped over cabinet doors. Do not use ammonia cleaners, powdered cleansers or scouring pads on wood surfaces. Clean occasionally with a soft clean cloth moistened with water (add a mild dishwashing liquid to remove heavy or sticky substances); wipe again with a soft, clean cloth moistened with water only (if detergent has been used), and dry with a soft clean dry cloth.
Any cleansers, or residue of cleansers on a cloth used to wipe the cabinets will void the warranty on the finish.

Never ! use a dishcloth from the sink to clean the cabinets. The dishcloth may contain residue of bleach, amonia, oils, vinegars and other chemicals of food residue that will contaminate the finish. This will void the warranty.
